What is withdrawal-induced concentration problems?

Problems with concentration and other kinds of cognitive impairments are commonly reported symptoms of psychiatric drug withdrawal. People often describe being easily distracted and unable to focus, having difficultly following conversations, struggling to read a book, overlooking and being confused by details that were previously simple to understand, and not being able to complete tasks. People report life feeling chaotic and disorganized. Prioritizing and keeping track of household and other duties often become a struggle, which can feel especially difficult when responsible for children. Individuals with this symptom are often frustrated and distressed about having to navigate life with a fuzzy, slow mind.
